Just like Hermès, Dior and Chanel, the Celine brand embodies French luxury.

Member of the exclusive LVMH group, the brand has been synonymous with cool yet chic style for over 70 years . At the beginning of the 1960s, Celine was characterized by very refined creations, such as the line of flat-heeled moccasins - Inca and Byblos, in particular - and the brand's entry into the realm of fashion dates back to that period. In 1967 the moment of the big leap arrived: Vipiana organized its first ready-to-wear collection. Pants, skirts, jackets, knit blouses, everything is designed to fit the active woman's lifestyle.

During this period Vipiana had the idea of ​​using the chain motif surrounding the Arc de Triomphe to create the brand's famous chain necklace - forming the two intertwined initial "Cs" - which would become Celine's coat of arms. With the arrival of British creative director Phoebe Philo in 2008, the brand found new momentum, becoming synonymous with minimalist luxury, avant-garde femininity and functional, accessible design. Hedi Slimane, whose impressive CV also includes positions as creative director of Dior Homme and Yves Saint Laurent, joined Celine as creative director in January 2018.

First, Slimane removed the famous accent on the 'E' from the brand's name, bringing Celine back to the Sixties and making the logo more social . Celine glasses best express the whole nature of the brand's spirit to the point that many models have become true icons.
