Given its origin, one might think that the name and pronunciation of the brand, LOEWE, are Spanish. Its origin derives, however, from Germany and more precisely from the skilled leather craftsman Enrique Loewe Roessberg, who brought together the collective artisan workshop under his name. LOEWE was therefore born as a Spanish brand with a name of German origin that is rather difficult to pronounce. The most correct way for a Spanish person to pronounce this term is “lo-weh-vay”.
